Finger-type Straw Walker
The finger-type straw walker is considered auxiliary equipment for grain combine harvesters, designed to collect and draw cut stalks (straw) from the ground. This device primarily operates after the cutterbar platform and threshing mechanism have passed, using metal or plastic fingers mounted on a rotating shaft to gather the plant residue left on the ground or between rows. It can either discharge the straw away from the combine's path or spread it uniformly along the machine's travel direction. The design of this straw walker, featuring an adjustable rotational speed, allows it to perform the collection task with optimal efficiency while preventing excessive pressure on the ground or soil damage.
